Brilliant spot opposite Widemouth Bay beach, great sea views & surf access. Facilities are spotless & modern. Friendly staff create a relaxed vibe. Pubs & shops nearby. Can get windy/busy in peak times, but most plan to return!

Liked Extremely kind and helpful campsite staff and at the Inn next door. I lost my van keys on the coastal path on the 2nd night and they all went out their way to help me. I was offered food and stayed in the spare caravan onsite. I was permitted to stay an extra evening at no charge to wait for a locksmith to help me on the Monday.
Stunning views and walks for miles along the coast path & on the bog beach. Exploring the rock pools and cliffs was such fun, even in stormy season. Bude is not too far away along the coast path and there is a fairly regular 95 bus that stops opposite the Beach House across the road from the campsite for a return journey if you did not want to walk back.
Toilet & shower block was clean and modern. Good pressure & temperature of showers.

Liked Location was very good 10 minutes walk to beach and right next to pub which served food. Can easily walk into Bude which took us about an hour.
Disliked In the summer I would have thought the toilets and shower would be rammed as there are 4 showers and approx 6 toilets for whole camp. Could do with a few more water supplies for everyone to use.

Thanks for taking the time to give us a review. Just have to correct you on the shower/toilet situation. You are obviously just talking about the male block ,there is another 6 showers and 6 toilets in the ladies as well as a disabled shower/toilet plus 5 outside hot showers too. We comply with campsite regulations for numbers of toilets/showers/pitch according to our license.
Water taps are dotted around the site and number 12.
Hope to see you again next year.
