A sweet retreat awaits when you book out the spacious yurt at this peaceful site in Kent. Set on the serene grounds of a working cherry farm, Cherry Stone Yurts has excellent glamping accommodation that can sleep up to seven. With two double futons and three singles, you can host the whole family here – and while not in use, the futons fold away into ample seating for after-dinner hearthside chats… The interior of the yurt is bright, airy and open-plan, with a spacious living space where you have access to a camp kitchen plus a cosy woodburning stove, candle lanterns and solar-powered fairy lights. Outside, there's an open fireplace with its own pizza oven, a washing-up area and a well-maintained toilet and shower for your exclusive use. Cherry Stone Yurts is about 10 minutes' drive from the small town of Paddock Wood, where there are shops, restaurants, supermarkets and a railway station. Please note that Cherry Stone Yurts is located in a field with uneven pathways, so it is not likely to be suitable for people with limited mobility. This is a working farm, so children must be supervised at all times.

A peaceful, secluded spot with plenty of room and a great location. Campers loved the outdoor kitchen, big fire pit and pizza oven. Plenty of space for everyone. Yurt was cosy and clean, hosts were friendly. Some minor suggestions made, but overall a really positive stay.

Liked Peaceful, lovely location, everything we needed was there. Children and adults loved it. Sitting around the fire pit looking up at the stars was definitely the highlight of our weekend.
Everything we needed to make meals was there. Bathroom was lovely, beds were very cosy and such a beautiful place to wake up.

Great stay and will definitely be back.

Liked Space was unbelievable
Very clean and well maintained
Hosts were lovely and very accommodating
Had a whole big field to ourselves

Disliked Difficult to leave as it’s behind a locked gate so need to ask to be let out. Very minor though.

Liked Lovely 2 night stay with our 8 & 5 year old sons. The boys had a great time, loads of space for them to run around & play football etc. The yurt was very clean and spacious and a had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very friendly and brought us extra wood for the fire pit, as well as bringing his lovely dogs down to visit our boys, which they really enjoyed! Very peaceful and private space. We will be back!

Liked Not bad area, but place was very very nice as we wanted. It was our old school mates get-together after three years and the place didn't disappoint us. It was perfect for the typical English Wet and windy weather on summer days. We enjoyed the stay and is one of our favourite memories.

Disliked It had only single toilet. There is a small gap on the roof between the dinner table and fireplace outside, where the rain pour in when it rain.

For indoor activity on rainy days, pack your sports kit and swimming costumes and head into Tunbridge Wells (20 minutes), where there is a well-equipped leisure centre for just such occasions. If you're just itching to get out and explore the south coast, point yourself southwards and visit Rye (45 minutes), a historic port town just inland, or wander along the shoreline at Hastings (an hour), Dungeness (an hour) or Camber Sands (an hour).
