What customers say
Super friendly, clean, tidy spot with great facilities, spacious pitches & playground. Pub's a winner for food/drinks. Staff super helpful. Mostly peaceful, family-focused. Toilets can be busy at peak times, could do with more washing-up sinks.

Good value and pub grub
Unpowered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Good value. Decent hard standing and grass pitch. Clean facilities. Pub and cafe on site with helpful staff.
Disliked Not a major issue if your phone torch is working, but it's a dark walk at night across the grass to the toilets/showers from the motorhome pitches.

Where was John
Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site (large)
Liked Nothing to say
Disliked We arrived at site, just after 2 miles previous, having our trailer flip, when a wheel bearing broke. To make matters we quickly realised that I had booked the wrong two days and we were a week early. Big thank you to the farmer and his son who lifted or trailer of the highway and put it in his yard. Big thank you to the girl on the bar at check in who was trying to pull pints and find a solution to help us. But I have to ask where was John who was supposed to come and see us. We sat for 45 mins still shocked by what had happened and now homeless. If John was the owner or manager then it is a zero out of ten for your customer service

Welcoming Staff
Unpowered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked We arrived very late, tired and hungry after our motorhome unfortunately broke down. The pub was closed for food but we were sold some desperately needed wine and beer and ordered a pizza delivery. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Pitch was great and loved the fire pit.
Disliked The fact we didn't get to enjoy our planned stay.
