Everything a camper needs
Powered grass tent or motorhome site
Liked The Boe Rigg has everything a camper would need. A quality bar and restaurant serving good food. The pitches are of a very good size, well spaced out and offer brilliant views.
The amenities are clean, tidy and well maintained. They also have the best showers I've used on a campsite, hot, powerful and no annoying timer.
We truly enjoyed our stay.

Lovely well maintained site. Grassy areas…
 Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely well maintained site. Grassy areas were well mown for pitching tents but other areas left longer to provide delineation between pitches. And also for wildlife. Toilet block kept sparkling clean but tired and in need of a few repairs at the end of a very long season. The Restaurant and bar were very pleasant and the food was excellent quality and very fairly priced. The outside areas were kept neat and clean. The ducks and chickens were wonderful. Sadly not all parents reminded their children that they should respect the livestock. I was lucky I came at the end of the season and it was wonderfully peaceful, the surrounding landscape was beautiful. All the people who worked on the site were friendly, helpful and were excellent at their work. I would love to come back next year. I understand the current managers are retiring. Well they have earned a long happy retirement and I hope the new people keep the same ambience. I felt very safe on this site and would recommend to lone female travellers.
