What customers say
A peaceful spot with helpful staff and nice grounds. Enjoy the quiet, good views and games room. Toilets are clean but old. Wi-Fi can be weak, limited local shops and dogs might face charges/less space. Handy for Whitby and the moors.

Friendly and welcoming site.
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Very friendly and welcoming staff. Well spaced out pitches . Hookup points and water tap on every pitch. Toilet block very clean and only a minute from the pitches. Security barrier at the entrance. Lovely site only stayed for one night but we will be back for a longer stay.

Nice clean site, very basic for price but did the job.
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Tidy site, bit remote for what we hoped but was a late booking. Very clean. Also hit by storm Dave so a rough night as not much shelter from the elements but that was no ones fault.
Disliked Toilets very dated and cold, mens have just been 'renovated' new tiles on 2 walls!! Pitches were short, website says 7m max, my van 7.6m. I checked before booking and they said ok but leg drops at the rear so needed a gap meaning front sticking out further still. WiFi and signal terrible.

25-30 mins on bus to Whitby
Buses are not reliable and bus station is dirty smelly

Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Very well kept site, great location, very quiet. Lovely pub nearby.
Disliked Poor wifi throughout site with no data available. Poor lighting at night, especially to get to toilets. Toilet/shower block quite dated and not lit at all at night. Site is better suited for motorhomes or campervans with own toilets. Concerned about short metal posts sticking through concrete pad on plot, could cause damage if driven over.

Accessable, clean, functional and convenient, friendly welcome
Fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (maximum 7 metres)
Liked Burnt House park was clean and pleasant. Although there was noone to greet us, we were made welcome by the lovely gentleman who answered the door bell via phone link and talked us through where to pitch. The toilets and showers were clean and hot and the hard standing pitches were spacious and well maintained with electric and water .
Disliked The site could do with more signs pointing to the chemical toilet waste unit and bins and some direction to where dogs would be able to be exercised and walked. It didn't come over as being particularly dog friendly.
