What customers say
Woodcroft Farm: loved for its peaceful setting, stunning views, and spotless pods with great facilities (ensuites, kitchenettes). Hosts, especially Sarah, are a highlight. Great for families, couples and solo travellers seeking quiet and dark skies. Minor heating/bin notes addressed. Visitors want to return!

Hazel camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked Excellent stay at the Hazel pod, a 1 night stopover while motorbike touring so had the bed made up for me, everything clean and tidy, nice shower and good facilities, i got a nice fire going in the evening too and sat there with a couple of beers then retired and watched youtube stuff on the tv for a bit and slept well, most enjoyable

Elder camping pod (no pets)
Liked The setting was very scenic, peaceful and quiet and the pod itself was excellent with a great ensuite and kitchen space. The fire pit was a great feature that we enjoyed.
Disliked Not a lot to be disappointed with at all! Small gripe, but there was only one small kitchen knife to use for any cooking and food preparation, others very well equipped.

Liked ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Brilliant family stay – works for everyone!
We visited with our 22 year old and 6 year old and had such a wonderful time. Our youngest was in heaven – endless space to run, farm animals to watch, and safe enclosed areas to play. Our eldest wanted peace, quiet and nature, and he got exactly that: stunning views, great walking routes, and total calm, far away from noise and crowds.
The accommodation was spotless, warm and really well set up for families. The owners are friendly, helpful and genuinely lovely people. We loved every minute – value for money is amazing, and we’ll definitely be back. Can’t recommend enough! Exactly what we need.

Oak camping pod (no pets)
Liked Lovely glamping pod with all the necessary amenities. The location is beautiful and the view from the pod is stunning. Great communication as well 🙂
Disliked The heating wasn’t very powerful and the pod ended up very cold, however, we should have turned the heater on sooner and might not have been working it properly.

From the manager: I'm sorry to hear the cabin was cold. The heater has three programmes and a thermostat. I'll add some info to the cabin literature for future guests. Thank you for highlighting.

Peaceful, quiet camp pods
Hazel camping pod (pet friendly)
Liked The perfect spring get away, pure peace and quiet. Lambs skipping in the field right in front of the pods. The pods are arranged so you feel like you have your own space. Pod is designed well, compact but with the large drawers under the beds, you can keep it clutter free. Enjoyed the dark skies on a night, listening to a tawny owl at dusk. Beautiful, scenic walks in either direction, White Kirklees/Bolihope Burn one way, Stanhope the other. Owners gave a very warm welcome.
Disliked Nothing that I didn’t like.
