Liked We loved the simplicity and quietness,this place is a tranquil haven for the senses.
The facilities are outstanding for a campsite.
We cannot recommend this highly enough for a retreat.
We will definitely be coming back for another weekend getaway.

Liked Absolut schöner und ruhiger , gepflegter Platz mit allem was man braucht. Ver- und Entsorgung vorhanden. Einige Plätze auch mit Strom. Toiletten und Dusche top sauber und gepflegt. Freundlicher Telefonkontakt bei Anmeldung. Schöner Platz mit altem Baumbestand. Sehr ruhig

Disliked Weiter Fußweg zur Busstation und nächstem Pub. Toilette oder Toilette mit Dusche nur gegen Gebühr. Grauwasserentsorgung nur über Behälter, da keine Bodenkanalisation.

Liked Very peaceful, exceptional clean place to stay had it to myself remote but only a short walk to good pub & local bus

Disliked No washing up facilities plus didn't like the locking of toilet/shower facilities after every use 🤔

The toilet and shower facilities are optional extras so they're kept locked with a key box, so they're available exclusively for guests who have booked them and to help us maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. Liked Lovely little site, we had it to ourselves
Shower room was spotless, very peaceful too.

Disliked Shower room very hot, could do with air conditioning, we had to leave the door open while using, had there been other campers we couldn’t have done that,it’s a metal structure so obviously it’s going to attract the heat, 2 gates to get into site 1st one is a combination lock which is difficult to see if the previous person has not put it back with numbers facing you, 2nd one isn’t locked, would be better with automatic barriers.

Liked This small, very quiet campsite was just as advertised, the shower and toilet were extremely clean and tidy. As a camper-van owner they were worth paying the extra for.

Disliked We would say the only minor change would be the key storage for the shower and toilet, not always easy to store the key back in the box but we are being picky. Again as a camper van owner we agree with the suggestion of adding washing-up facilities.

Disliked Nothing really. If I'm being really really really picky, we would have liked sink washing up facilities for dishes. And maybe a pedestrian gate at the main entrance as we went for walks regularly. But this doesn't stop us giving 10/10 - and it doesn't stop this site going to the top of our list of local getaway sites. We look forward to staying here again (and hope they are as busy as they were this time 😉)
