  • Peaceful adults-only site in the Worcestershire countryside
  • Half an hour's drive from Bredon Hill Nature Reserve and the Cotswolds
  • Half an hour from Stratford-upon-Avon and an hour from Birmingham
Where you can reach hills and rivers, nature reserves and safari parks, stately homes and buzzing multicultural cities, all within easy day trip distance? Step forward, Worcestershire. That’s partly why the proprietors of White Hall, an adults-only site 20 minutes from Pershore, have been busily hosting visitors for the past 40 years. It’s also because, with nigh-on half a century’s experience, the team keep this place in tiptop condition. Happy guests of White Hall, some of whom have been coming back year on year for decades, mention the clean facilities, the abundance of dog-walking paths nearby (furry friends are welcome on the site, of course…), the warm reception at The Boot Inn, half an hour’s walk away, and most of all, the peace. Being adults-only helps, of course… as does being surrounded by trees and fields for miles around. For further immersion in nature, it’s just under five minutes’ drive to Grafton Wood Nature Reserve, an ancient broad-leaved woodland visited by buzzards, woodpeckers and a myriad of colourful butterflies. If you're more content when contemplating the waters and waiting for a bite, there are well-stocked fishing pools, 20 minutes’ and half an hour’s drive away.

What customers say

A peaceful, adult-only haven in lovely country. Guests rave about the quiet, spotless facilities, and welcoming owners. Great for unwinding, with walks aplenty. Mobile/Wi-Fi patchy, roads tight, showers a tad pricey for some.

Liked Great site with great toilet facilities which are kept spotlessly clean. Pleasant owner who makes sure he points out water, ehu etc. pitches are very spacious and level. One of the most peaceful sites I’ve ever been on. A 20-30 walk through the fields takes you to a lovely pub, The Flyford. Very friendly staff.

Disliked Not a thing.

Liked Another wonderful break away at this beautiful site. We stayed last year for a week and had such a lovely time we decided to book 2 weeks there this year and my goodness - what a beautiful break away!

I'm autistic and haven't been away for 2 weeks since the year 2000 but my goodness, this place makes it feel like home.

Set in beautiful surroundings, looking out onto woodland, so peaceful and tranquil too.

Ian and his wife are so hospitable and nothing is too much trouble. An absolute gem of a site at an unbelievably low price. Showers are wonderfully warm and use 20p pieces (and 20p lasts around a minute). We were gobsmacked to hear someone complain that you had to pay to shower - the cheek of them! For such an unbelievable nightly price, I'd have charged them double Ian, ha, ha!

A credit to the owners and a huge thank you for making us feel so welcome again. As a highly functioning autistic adult, I really struggle with noise and being away but our holidays at Whitehall Farm have been blissful, so thank you Ian.

Hoping to return next year so see you both soon, best wishes Lindsay and Tim xxx

Disliked Absolutely nothing - aside the idiot who moaned re the 20p for the shower?!

Liked Lovely peaceful site and the facilities were very clean. The owners are amazing.

Disliked There were a couple of permanent caravans and a tent that looked a little unsightly and let the site down a little but it won’t put me off staying again

Liked Beautiful, rural location. Very well maintained. Two toilets and one shower facility. Electric hookup available and water on site too. WiFi is free, but was dropping out during our stay occasionally. Most of the time it was fine and good enough for streaming TV.
Woods are on your doorstep for walks and the site is dog friendly.
Shops/service stations are a good walk or drive away which was perfect for what we wanted.
Stratford was 45 mins away and Cheltenham is about the same. Warwick castle is about the same too. Plenty to see around - I would suggest taking a car to see the surrounding areas.

Liked It's so quiet and boutique! We slept so well. The showers and bathrooms are clean and we never had to wait. The couple who own it are very kind and gracious. Would come back! Be sure to bring your own foods and drink though as there's no local amenities.

Local attractions

Walks and wildlife spotting are number one attractions in these parts: Bredon Hill National Nature Reserve, half an hour’s drive away, is a distinct area of pastured woodland that’s forever changing due to landslip, so the resident bird and bug populations shift along with it. Whitethroats, linnets and yellowhammers keep visiting for breeding purposes, and the views across the Cotswolds are constantly cracking. For wildlife more exotic, take a drive through the West Midlands Safari Park (40 minutes' drive), or head deeper into Cotswolds country for a visit to Birdland (an hour), home of some 5,000 feathered friends, including pelicans, parrots and storks. Partial to a stately home or two? See how the other half lived at the grand 18th-century piles of Croome and Hanbury Hall (25 and 40 minutes), wandering lavish interiors and landscaped parklands. If you’re a fan of the bard, sally forth to Stratford-upon-Avon half an hour away to see Shakespeare’s birthplace, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and maybe take in one of the plays William penned, at the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre. For a total contrast, the city of Birmingham is just under an hour away, well-stocked with stuff to do and see, including the Thinktank science museum, tours of the Jewellery Quarter and its museum, shows at the NEC and sweet encounters at the chocolate factory Cadbury World.
