Spacious, mostly peaceful site with friendly staff & tidy, flat pitches. Lovely lakes for fishing, good cafe. Toilets/showers usually clean & plentiful, though some noted minor issues. A few experienced event noise. Good value for families & dogs.

Disliked Nothing around for walking distance so in need of a car to get around unless you're staying on site.
Gross campers not cleaning up after themselves in the hygiene facilities, especially in during out of hours. (Company not at fault, just filthy customers).

Liked Only stayed one night as a stopover to somewhere else, nice and quiet, beautiful lakes. Nice clean, mixed, showers/toilets. Small cafe/reception with inside and outside seating areas. Only opened until 4pm though.
Disliked Wanted to walk to Wolsey village which Pitch Up said was a 10 minute walk. Apparently it was more like 35/40 minutes walk along a main road with no paths. So unfortunately we didn't venture from the campsite.

Liked We had such a lovely weekend at this campsite! We stayed as a group of five families, all with children and dogs, and it was perfect for what we needed.
The location was great, with plenty to do for everyone. Those who enjoy fishing had a great time and even managed to catch some small fish. The facilities were excellent – the showers and toilets were clean and there were plenty available, which made a big difference with a large group.
The nearby village is within walking distance and has some lovely pubs, and we especially enjoyed the walks through the surrounding fields – really peaceful and scenic.
Overall, it was exactly what we were looking for – relaxing, family-friendly, and well looked after. We would definitely recommend it and hope to come back again!

We booked and turned up on the Friday daytime to be met by a marquee set up the other side of the lake
Playing loud bassy music
I tried to gish with my children but the noise of the music coming from the marquee made the experience not a relaxing one.
I went to the cafe and asked the staff when the music would be turning down or off
To wich the staff member said she would find out.
We went to our pitch and got set for the evening of camping
But for the music to still be very loud and bassy
And the staff member didn't come to infirm us
It got to 9pm and the music was now even louder and the cafe at the front of site had locked up and gone home...
The number that it said to ring on the door didn't answer 😕
I walked up to the marquee to ask when the music would stop to wich I was informed it would be 12:30am
Not good at all especially with the fact that I had my children with me and we had to be up the next day at 7am for an important sports event
The whole experience was a terrible one and we was kept awake until 1am with the music and noise from the marquee

As they didn't seem to care and we also wasn't informed of the music/event in the marquee would be on when we was staying on site
