What customers say
A tidy, well-kept site with great modern loos and showers. Handy for the A34 to explore, it's peaceful, with a popular cafe and pub nearby. Some mention distant traffic hum. A few hardstanding pitches need a bit more love, but it's not everyone's experience.

Excellent site with great facilities
Powered concrete and grass site
Liked Spacious level pitches with EHU and water - lovely toilet and shower block and washing up facilities. Very quiet and peaceful with two great pubs working 5 mins walk - both do great food. Oh, and a lovely cafe just around the corner.
Disliked The ground was a little damp so we were concerned about sliding in mud but, Hana said to park with our front wheels on the car park - problem solved!

Liked Unfortunately, nothing!
Disliked NO! We were not satisfied at all!
We have a different understanding of what a permanent pitch is, and it is not a poorly gravelled area with dilapidated beams that is also full of dirt. There are old doormats and rubbish lying around on the pitch.
The electrical box is broken and does not give me the impression that anyone is taking care of the site.
When mowing the lawn, the grass should be collected so that guests do not carry it everywhere and, above all, do not spread it in the toilet.
The cleanliness of the toilet, washrooms and shower rooms leaves a lot to be desired.
IT IS DIRTY!
There is a strong smell of sewage and urine.
Try turning on the hot water at the sink in the men's shower to brush your teeth or shave. It doesn't run for 5 seconds.
A proper holder for the hose at the toilet tank drain would be nice.
The fact that there is no contact person on site is perfectly fine in this day and age. However, a small sign saying ‘Hello dear camper, this is your pitch’ would be nice.
That would save a phone call and a callback.
Since you also say that you are dog-friendly, it would be a good idea to provide a small sign for walking your dog through the fields, perhaps even a signposted path. There is no information about where to go in the evening or where there is a supermarket or similar.
You can't help that the motorway is so clearly audible in the background, but a note would be honest and speak in your favour.
