Snowdrop shepherd's hut (hot tub)

Liked The cabin is modern and very clean. Everything you need for your stay is provided and more.

Dog friendly

Has a hot tub

3 options for seating - decking chairs, table and chairs and outdoor sofas.

The BBQ is a nice touch and allows 2 people to cook means comfortably.

Very peaceful environment and you are left to enjoy your time there alone.

10 minute walk away you can see great views of the river Trent.

Overall everything about our stay has far exceeded our expectations and I couldn’t recommended this place enough to anyone wanted a relaxing time away.

Our dogs were able to run around all weekend as the cabin grounds were fully secure.

Disliked This is not a dislike but more of a side note - we found the hot tub takes around 6-8 hours to heat up after being turned off so keep in mind to turn it on well in advance when wanting to use it. (It was already hot and ready when we first arrived)

Local attractions

The area surrounding the nearby town of Barton-upon-Humber (20 minutes' drive) has several top nature reserves to explore if you're seeking serenity, but you'll also likely appreciate the views over the mighty Humber Bridge and unusual attractions like The Ropewalk, an innovative arts centre housed in a former rope factory that uses this very elongated space to its full advantage. A day at the beach is also possible, and a number seaside towns are within doable driving distance. Staying in Lincolnshire, Cleethorpes (45 minutes) has a long, sandy beach and pier that prove popular with visitors whatever the time of year, but heading over to the other side of the Humber and exploring the coast around Withernsea (an hour and 10 minutes) is another top option if you don’t mind a slightly longer journey. For some time in town, you're close to Hull (40 minutes), home to The Deep aquarium, or York (an hour and 10 minutes) and its magnificent medieval minster, Viking heritage and railway museum.
