What customers say
Great for families, with awesome play areas and splash park. Good food and facilities, though some found pitches cramped and loos weren't always spotless. Showers had awkward plug sockets, breakfast was late, and wasps were a bother.

Disliked We arrived to somebody else pitched half on our pitch (it was not made to clear where to pitch tents nor are tent pitches marked out, we were then giving a tent pitch that golf buggy’s drive through. But third time lucky we were given a suitable pitch.
Toilet shower and sink cubicle x2
toilet cubicle x2
these were filthy, no loo roll and really far away from where we were allotted to camp. Knowing through our booking we had 3 children.
No laundry room,
No place to store ice blocks
No where to dry hair.
Washing up facility surrounded by bugs
Bins over flowing on to the floor.
Although it says the facility has free Wi-Fi, it DOES NOT reach the camping area.
I would not recommend staying here The facilities for camping just have not been thought about. Having to clean the shower and toilet before you can use them is definitely not ideal
We have camped for the same price on other sites and facilities have been spotless . I would definitely say overpriced.

Great site for young families,
Unpowered grass caravan or tent site
Liked The children loved the play areas and splash park, convenient to order drinks for table delivery so you can still supervise young children playing.
Lots to entertain, we only left site to go to tesco (5 minute drive) for ice for cool box.
The children had a fantastic time and want to go again.
Disliked Very small, close together pitches. One had spread out and come right up to our numbered marker.
Didn't clean the toilet facilities, change towels etc throughout our 2 night stay.
No plug sockets near shower area for hair drier etc.
Breakfast on site does not start til 10am.
No bricks or similar for disposable bbq.
Nothing to do with the park, but pea vining in adjacent field from midnight til 4am was quite loud! And a lot of wasps, amazed we didn't get stung.

Overall a lovely stay, just minor issues.
Unpowered grass caravan or tent site
Liked New, clean fresh facilities. Great restaurant on site. Play area for children was good. Really quite at night and lovely flat pitching areas.
Disliked Tent pitches are a fair distance from everything. Not a huge issue as we were told camping here is a fairly new thing. So would expect larger facilities and waste areas as the site grows. Breakfast prices were pricey! Opted to drive elsewhere which is a shame as main lunch menu was great with children eating for £1!
