Highly recommended, spacious and clean site with modern loos and showers. Friendly staff, lovely views and a peaceful vibe. Great for exploring the Peaks. Be aware of occasional road noise and possible queues during busy periods. Fire pits for hire.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Really enjoyed staying at this site. It had everything we needed in terms of facilities which were very clean. There was drinking water and a pot washing station which was handy and the owners also came round with fire pits for the evening if we wished. The goats sheep llamas and cows were really cute and friendly. Great hiking routes around the site too.
Disliked Nothing. Had a great time.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The site is well set out, easy to find and very laid back. We were able to pick our own pitch and surprisingly there were a few campers there already but we still got a pitch close to the toilets and showers. The staff were friendly and helpful. The facilities were well maintained and everything had been thought about down to washing up liquid in the wash up. There is a freezer for your ice blocks and electric points for charging items. The animals were nice to see and happily came close. Finally there is a fantastic notice board with loads of info from takeaways that deliver to the site to nearby attractions
Disliked The weather was all we could complain about but it has made us more determined to return for longer next year
