Liked We loved this camp site. Basic facilities but all very clean. We enjoyed one brilliant night here. We didn’t venture out anywhere as the children all made friends. Great experience!

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely, well maintained campsite, cute goats. Good facilities. Fire pits allowed, dogs allowed. Great area for exploring the Peak District. Monsal Head and Monsal Viaduct are five minutes up the road - steep walk down from the hotel - stunning area.
We had a fantastic little escape - we’ll be back.
Disliked Not really about the campsite, but Giffgaff mobile really struggles around this area, and the Peak District in general - if you need data.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Immaculately maintained, staff unobtrusive (never saw them cleaning but the toilet, showers & washing blocks were immaculate!). Lovely grass, soft ground that was easy to peg & not a stone to be found. Choice of where to pitch.
Disliked Nothing! People have mentioned the road but it didn’t bother us.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely spacious campground, great views and a good base for exploring the Peak District, quite at night, lovely to walk up the lane and see the animals.
Disliked Water temperature in showers was only just warm and you can not alter the temperature, wouldn’t put me off returning but a hot shower would be nice
