Liked The campsite was quiet and very well maintained. Although offering simple facilities it was very clean and very functional with lovely hot water at the pot wash including washing liquid and scrubber. The location is great for walks and a great welcome from the site owner.

Liked Used for stop off point to get to nc500 and what a great find no great value. Everywhere very clean and new with a very warm toilet block with toiletries included. Full use of country club attached.

Liked Space between the pitches. No road noise. Clean free showers, toilets and washing up area. Two extra small basins to clean teeth in outside helped alleviate ques in the toilet/sink area. Friendly owners happy to give help taking the bricks they provide for you to stand fire pit/ BBQ on in a little tractor trailer (they allowed one of the campers with young son to ride along side made us smile )

Disliked Only two showers and two toilets but never had much of a wait.

Liked Great campsite with good lay out and various field to pitch in. The toilet block and showers were very good but a bit fiddly having to re bear the dose to get in every time. We only stayed for one night so didn’t use the shop but we did visit the pub at the entrance to the site. After a great day paddle boarding a buck hearty great value meal was just what we needed.

Disliked Code for toilet. Is it really necessary.

Liked Warm welcome at reception. Easily found our pitch on a large field with plenty of space to put up our awning. Very picturesque place to camp with great views of the surrounding countryside. Although the showers were shut the toilet facilities were very clean and hand sanitizer was available outside the toilets and at the very well equipped pot washing area. There was also a large fridge freezer for the campers to use.
