Silkie non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Absolutely loved this site, it was so incredibly beautiful and simple. I hate a commercialised , grid like pitch. These pitches were subtly mowed into tall grass and Ancient oak trees. Every pitch felt incredibly private and secluded. The views around were stunning, yes there was a very noise rooster but your camping in the wild, there's supposed to be wild life. It was otherwise very peaceful and soreen. The facilities are very basic but do the job. We would 100% come back to this site and hope to on our next visit to Norfolk. It's so well located in wells , with shops and everything you need within 5 minutes. We didn't meet the owners , it was very much self service but personally I like that. Everything was well laid out and sign posted that the interaction wasn't needed. Although we did get a simple text the day before with a basic introduction and instructions which was reassuring and very helpful. So thankyou Jess and Ryan for our stay, Kids said it was the best night camping so far.
Disliked Not really a dislike but I think a very simple solar shower , or Amazon pop up style shower would go far on this site. It wouldn't ruin the wildness of the site and would encourage us and maybe others who don't carry their own set up to stay longer.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Beautiful well kept almost wild campsite. We're only local but felt like we could have been anywhere, the site is almost 2.5 miles down a long country road tucked into some wheatfields. The views around are picturesque especially with a clear never ending view across the fields at sunset. Susan and Kevin really put thought into our pitch based off our booking (two young kids) She made sure they knew where every outdoor toy was and that they knew the summer house was well stocked with free biscuits! Which went down a hit. We're very rustic basic campers so the summer house itself was such a good ammendity. Power, kettle, microwave, fridge and much more which all came in handy. Susan went above and beyond to make sure we were happy campers and we 1000% were. We will definitely be back and recommending to friends and family.
Disliked Dislike is too strong of a word but the toilet lock was a bit odd. Couldn't work it out so using the bathroom with lots of other campers there was a little nerv racking ( toilets themselves were lovely and surprised me being that they've fitted a standard style bathroom set up into what looks like a shed)
