Liked We booked another couple of nights here on our way back through France. A wonderful time spent relaxing in the peaceful surroundings. Hospitality was first class as we dined in the restaurant and chatted with the owner about the local wildlife. An absolute highlight was hearing the nightjars in the heath nearby. Lovely campsite.

Liked One of our favourite local overnight stays. Level pitch, good breakfast and a walk in the morning to the Heaths nearby.

Liked Great location for access into Dartmoor. Easy check and loved the fact that we could choose our pitch. Pitches were flat and the showers were hot, which was just what was needed after a long walk on Dartmoor on a very cold day.

Disliked The kitchen area could do with a clean. We ended up taking our dirty cutlery and dishes home to stick everything through the dishwasher.
