Liked Lovely small rural site less than an hour's drive from Calais so ideal for channel crossing layovers. Lovely hedged pitches so feels very private and peaceful. Lots to see and do in the area if you have time, which the owners are happy to tell you about. The hosts even helped us book a local vet for our dogs worming treatment ready for our return journey. St Omer on market day is a good day out.

Liked Lovely site with friendly helpful staff. Good walking on quiet lanes and footpaths from the site. The dog walk is a disused lane adjacent to the site. Facilities were in good order and kept very.

Disliked One side of the site is close to a busy road, so noise in that part could be an issue. Luckily we were on the opposite side. WiFi not good across site.

Liked Lovely site next to a fantastic river perfect for fishing swimming or exercising the dog. Facilities onsite were excellent and kept very clean. Pool, restaurant and bar were nice and staff extremely helpful. We visited Carcassonne and Narbonne which are both fantastic places to visit.

Liked Lovely small site, extremely friendly and helpful hosts. The facilities were modern and kept very clean and tidy. Great location to explore the Pas-de-Calais area, or as pre/post ferry stopover. Cassel is a lovely small town with incredible views and market day in St Omer is a good day out. 20 minute walk into Renescure.

Liked A great base to explore the Cotswolds, or just spend some chilled out time in a lovely countryside setting. This is a lovely site with large, choose your own pitches across the main field. Very friendly and helpful owner and team. Modern facilities are kept spotless at all times. Even when busy at the weekend no waiting for facilities. A pleasant 45 minute walk into Morton in Marsh on quiet lane and footpaths or 5 minute drive. The on-site dog walking area was lovely.

Disliked Not enough electric hookup pitches. Some level pitches, but you will need levelers on many.

Liked Stunning views, beautiful site, and walks direct from site. Short 15 minute drive to Ullswater or Keswick. Only four campervan pitches, so felt like wild camping. Spotless facilities and lovely hot shower. Washing and drying facilities on site. A great location, but quite exposed if it's windy, the price of the views I guess.

Disliked Only real negative, is just one combined shower and toilet, which could mean a wait if someone else is using. Ideally they could do with another toilet.

Liked A hidden gem, this small site with level pitches, big skies and wonderful views makes for a wonderful stay. Well spaced pitches and spotless facilities onsite. 15-20 minutes walk to nearby Hindon where there are 2 pubs and a village shop. Lots of great walking nearby with the Wessex Ridgeway running right next to the site. A five minute drive from the A303, but far enough away for the road noise not to be an issue.
