Dereham, Norfolk, England
Non-electric grass pitch
Liked The site is large, quiet, and with very good sized pitches, with plenty of space between them. The shower/toilet block is clean, in good condition and everything works.
Disliked The showers could have been hotter

Electric optional gravel touring pitch
Liked Extremely peaceful location in the heart of the Loire Valley. Close to a nice local village with a small market and the Royal City of Loche, with its lovely old buildings. Centrally located and the Loire River is an easy drive along with a plentiful amount of chateau's.
The owners gave us a very warm welcome and they were extremely helpful.
Disliked Nothing really

Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, England
Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked - The facilities are very good and are kept clean
- Friendly and polite owners
- Site is secured with a pin-code barrier
- Hardstanding pitches are a good size and flat
- Easy access to the nearby Bury St. Edmonds
- The coast, Southwold, is an easy 50 mile drive
- Site Wi-Fi is free, unlimited devices and a good speed
Disliked - Site is more than half full with permanent tourers with people living in them
- The bookable touring pitches are mixed up within the permanent one's
- The 10A RCD trip kept cutting-out when you turned on more than one appliance or an appliance plus the heater
- Connectivity to the site Wi-Fi can be a bit hit/miss. Managed to connect phones okay, but TV kept dropping the connection

Bala, Gwynedd, Wales
Electric hardstanding touring caravan pitch
Liked The location beside Bala Lake is fantastic, especially if you have your own watersports equipment. There is very easy and plentiful lake access. The site is South of Bala which is about a 10min drive.
Disliked There is Wi-Fi available through-out the site, but it comes with a charge. There are shower and toilet facilities, but these can get very busy at weekends, and during the week, they reduce what is available to obviously save on cleaning.
On Friday evening, staying until Sunday morning, the calm location became what one other person described as a 'scene from a festival', when I think most of Liverpool and Manchester descend upon the place. However, what I will say is the the 10.30pm to 8am quiet period was adhered to.

Electric hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Overall, the site is very clean and well maintained. It's nice to be out in the countryside, with lovely views and sheep roaming around in the field next door. At night, you can hear owls.
Electric hook-up is available for all hardstanding's and we had no issues with it being just 10amps. We had a friendly welcome and because they weren't too busy, we were told that we could checkout whenever we wanted.
Disliked There is no Wi-Fi, paid or free, but the mobile signal for us on 3 was full strength, so no reception issues at all. There is no shower or toilet block; just a portaloo.
