Fully-serviced grass pitch
Liked Stayed 4 nights. Really friendly and helpful Staff. Campsite was really quiet with low traffic volume - surprising as it’s at the juncture of 3 roads. Pitches were very well kept, the toilets and showers were immaculate and there was a handy wee store at the registration office where you could buy simple essentials. There was also a small fenced off grass area where you could let your dogs off-lead. Importantly for me - you could walk directly to and from the South West Coast Path walk from this campsite.

Electric grass pitch
Liked This is one of the best sites I’ve taken my Camper van to. It’s dog friendly, the grass fields are in excellent condition with 2 big fields at the back to walk your dogs. The toilets and showers were IMMACULATE for the whole week. There is a dog friendly pub right at the entrance of the campsite - excellent food. There is also a pub right across the road (which sits between the campsite and the beach). Again - it serves food and is dog friendly - with a great atmosphere. This pub’s beer-garden is almost on the beach. About 2 mins along the beach there is a great café, and another 5 mins along the beach there is another great café. Oh! And they use Starlink for wifi - our wifi connection for the whole week was outstanding - even through a beast of an electrical storm! And lastly - that Staff that work there - you couldn’t ask for better ❤️

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Excellent little campsite which is perfectly placed for those walking the South West Coast path. The 2 x showers and 4 x toilets are kept immaculately clean and had hot water every time I used it. The campsite itself is very flat, so great for motorhomes and tents alike. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept under control. We met the owners on numerous occasions - a lovely and chatty couple for whom nothing is too much effort. A little shop has just opened on site and they will be providing all those little necessities we forget or run out of - and sweets, etc. There is a wood-fire Pizza van across the road from the campsite which makes Pizza's to die for! Thin crust and loads of toppings....perfect after a hard day's walking. You can also walk into the town of Clovelly from the campsite - be warned though, it's a very steep cobbled walk down and climb back up (though there is a pub half-way to help! :-) Really enjoyed our weekend - thank you!
