very quiet and peaceful which made for a lovely relaxing weekend, other campers were very friendly and louise was very hospitable.

only slight problem was how hard/rocky the ground was definitely need hard ground pegs but other than that was lovely!

This is a loverly working farm campsite with plenty of space and farm animals roaming around. Louise the owner is loverly, and assists you straight away with anything you need.
You can camp right up to the edge of the cliff which gives you a beautiful view of the area.
There are a few very friendly dogs here that are always happy to see you and like to come and inspect your tent.
There is no wifi here so phone signal may be a problem but you wouldn’t want to be on your phone here anyway unless you’re taking photos of surroundings.

There was no hot water for showers on the dates we stayed.

Lovely little campsite, Louise was a great host and very welcoming. There is a nice few walks straight from the site (one goes straight to a lovely little pub). The facilities are basic but we don't mind basic.
Definitely staying again.

Camped here in my campervan for 2 nights, Louise was very welcoming told us which field to park in. Very relaxed vibe, camp fires allowed.
There's a lovely walk down the old railway straight from the site this leads to a small village, there was a beer festival on and live music.

Campsite had basic facilities but showered were warm so all fine.

Lovely views and surroundings. The site is on a working farm so was lovely to meet some of the animals.
Louise was very informative on where to stay and about the near town. The nearest town was only 35 min away and was a lovely flat walk. The campsite has multiple areas for camping so was great to look around and pick - our view was beautiful and we loved being awoken by the farm activities!
The toilets and shower facilities were very clean. And we loved the fact they had fresh, spring drinking water!

Nothing we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again and recommend.
Just a note the showers are cold at first but do eventually go warm.

Great place to stay, railway pods were spacious and well setup. Site is a nice, simple and quiet one based on a working farm and a warm welcome on arrival.

Really lovely welcome by Louise on arrival who shared lots of relevant info on walks, the local village etc which was very useful! The site was perfect for what we wanted- stunning views alongside being a working farm with lots of animals around, we particularly liked the 2 goats! Wood was available to purchase and we could even use fire pits that were provided on the campsite which was really helpful. We ventured down the old railway line down to the village which we could access straight from the farm. The village had 3 pubs, 2 cafes and some lovely village shops. A great location as it’s away from the busiest part of the lakes but only a 15-20 min drive to Coniston. Will definitely be returning here, we loved it.
