Liked: Louise is simply wonderful, amazing views, and wonderful to be staying on a working farm. Lots of funny extra animals to get to know. We were just there for one night, but it was great. Fab to have use of a firepit, showers and toilets were basic but great and warm showers!

Liked: The views are stunning and the location is very peaceful. This is a working farm which adds to its charm as we loved the animals. The location is great for exploring the lake district. Louise was a very welcoming host.

Liked: Rail pods well equipped for price was exactly what it said on the tin camping without the rent but with lovely lig burner inside for when temperature drops of an evening .

Liked: I had a great time here last week.
The owners are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. The railway carriage I stayed in was beautiful and had a really serious log burner in there so despite the unseasonal cold weather I stayed warm.
The animals, dogs, lambs etc just added to the experience, popping round for a fuss, the fat little Cairn Terrier was my favourite but I can't remember her name.
I couldn't recommend it higher, it is a working farm so there are noises and smells but it is a very special place.Disliked: Nothing
