Incredible views, lovely people, animals and wildlife

Beautiful location, the owner was incredibly friendly and helpful even though we arrived very late after only booking that day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Facilities were close to the rail pod we were staying in; and we enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit.

Bed was very creaky but not really an issue.

Great facilities, clean and well-thought out. Drinking water on-site and bins was a bonus that not all campsites offer. Welcoming and friendly staff. Lovely location of the campsite with beautiful views and natural scenery.

The ground was very stony so it was difficult to pitch up.

Liked the farm location, complete with pet lambs and ducklings. A lovely walk along the old railway line behind the farm.

Hard ground not great for tent pegs!

Very friendly welcome from the owner. We had the choice of several pitches, the one we chose had superb views. The site was very quiet and peaceful (the owners don't allow children under 13), which was just what two teachers needed during their half term break! The toilet and shower block are basic but more than adequate. We will definitely be returning.
