How friendly everyone was, the views were gorgeous and we were able to buy a campfire starter kit from the farm.

The ground was very hard to pitch on, we ended up moving our tent once it was up because a large portion of the field is covered with rock one with an inch of dirt above it. Eventually we moved and found a place where we could just about get the tent pegs down somewhat.

The relaxed atmosphere and safe space this site provides. Sheep, goats and chickens regularly visiting to check us out with friendly farm dogs. Good to know this is an authentic farm working the dales landscape in a traditional way and the campsite is a bonus, not the centre of the operation

Beautiful scenery, calm, peaceful and quiet camp location within a lovely walk to the close village. Roaming farm animals made the stay extra interesting.

Relaxed farm site with excellent views over the valley. Pet lambs ducks and the farm terriers roam the campsite and it all adds to the ambience. Facilities are basic but clean and perfectly serviceable. The surrounding area is generally quiet with coast and South Lakes within easy reach.

Friendly welcome. Beautiful views over the valley. Lovely and peaceful. Sheep and ducks wandering around. Hot water in showers and for washing up with.

Toilets, washing up and showers were a bit basic. Clean but basic.

The peace and quiet and the beautiful surroundings made it a very relaxing, staying very friendly owner
