Location, size, and layout of campsite. Although the facilities are wooden shacks - they are functional.

Lack of staff - no staff were on location for the duration of our stay - another camper told us what we needed to know. The reception buzzer wasn’t answered on our arrival. Very narrow bays were even small motorhome struggled to park - this would be more of an issue at busier times

Clean, tidy well organised site

The campsite was quite small which made it a very nice quiet stay. The lady (I'm assuming the owner) was very helpful for small items we forgot to pack. There is a bar onsite which sells bottled drinks and firewood. The location is nearby to local pubs if you wish for a pint instead though. The toilets and washing up area was very clean and tidy and offers a communal fridge, freezer and microwave. The whole park is secured by a locked gate which you are given a code to which made it feel more secure. The pitches were fairly close together so maybe not recommended if you have a large set up but we found it quite nice as it encouraged people to communicate more. I would defiantly stay here again

The pitch numbers were a little confusing at first as there is a sign on the entrance which differs to the pitch markings so was unsure on which pitch to set up on.

Only suggestion would be shelves or more hooks in shower area (personal preference is not to put things on floor near toilet, and found bag was too big for the little shelf).

Clean and well organised. Only stayed one night but will return.

Really appreciate what they are doing here. Small site, well laid out, ideal for campervans. Great games room and bathrooms on site.

Great proximity to Frome (walkable) toilets were clean, pitches were clean and tidy. No person contact but not needed to be honest, easy to find and felt safe.

We did visit on easter weekend so the site was fully booked but it was uncomfortably full. The pitches all nudged up to the path/drive so every person on the site who needed to leave/enter, wash up, toilet, go to the play park had to walk within a metre of the front of the van which gave a very fishbowl effect, and the next pitch both in-front and next to us both sides was no less than 3 metres away and the only place to sit out was next to the van so again you felt quite exposed, teamed with a busy site, noise from the dual carriageway (which was clearly stated so no shade) didn’t have quite the chilled weekend we planned. Site would be really lovely if there were 50% less pitches.
