Fantastic place

Picnic tables should come as standard issue at every campsite pitch everywhere!
Great kids facilities.
Size of pitches perfect.
Toilet and kitchen facilities spotless and well maintained.
Selection of fire pits for use - we bought our own logs with us.
Free games room for kids with loads of activities.

Driving out when other campers were overhanging their pitches made for a really really tight experience. Hard standings were standard sized but even in a VW we had to squeeze through.
Pub/takeaway now permanently closed, no facilities within walking distance.
Road noise from local a road.

The pod was amazing!! So clean, had everything we needed!

The security of the site with it been a gated site.
Nice sized cabin, basic, ideal for short breaks.
The site staff/owner very pleasant and helpful.
Location to days out such as Longleat safari, as well as supermarket.
In summary superb basic site.

Length of draw as the got dirty.

Very neat well presented site. My son and I stayed here during Easter last year for a "lad and dad" camping trip (it was just a field then), but allowed fires🔥

It now has hard standing pitches with WiFi, a grass area to the right, EHU, water connection and picnic table on each pitch. There were communal fridge, freezer, electric kettle, and microwave in the washing up area, which was nice. There was also a games room and children's play park. There were still fire pits available to use too.

The site is also only 4mins away from a supermarket, and shops, which is great.

All in all a great stay - we will be back soon!

Could do with a few more darts in the games room and being a tad cheaper, or offering a discount for longer stays.

The pitch was great and very easy to find with helpful parking alongside. The amenities are fantastic, the games room is great and the free barbecue is amazing. The location is great and everything you need is very close by.

Not a true dislike but a few more hooks and some clever minimalist storage in the Crabby Apple Shepherds Hut would make it perfect!

Pitches aren’t specific so ended up with a camper facing in to ours which wasn’t great. We like our own space.
