Grand spot, quiet and rural with lovely, helpful owners who love their animals and the planet. Great for animal watching & local advice. But, the road's a bit tight and steep, and facilities are basic with limited space.

Liked Das familiengeführte kleine Camp besticht durch seine Lage in den Bergen mit atemberaubender Aussicht, vielen Tieren, einem kleinen Pool und absoluter Gastfreundlichkeit. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist hier ideal aufgehoben. Dieser Platz ist nichts für Wohnmobilisten und dies sollte auch respektiert werden. Ein Paradies für Kinder. Unsere Tochter hat sich hier keine Sekunde gelangweilt.
Steckt einfach mal eure Handys weg und genießt die Zeit hier. 🙏🏻

Liked Una bellissima atmosfera in un bellissimo posto dove i protagonisti solo gli animali e la cura per quest'ultimi da parte dei proprietari. La zona campeggio è piccola ma ha tutto ciò che serve: bagno e doccia puliti, una piccola piscina, e uno spazio comune riparato dove poter lavare le proprie stoviglie.

Liked An amazing campsite with amazing owners. We pitched our tent next to the cows where we could look over the hill and spot animals. Go here if you like quieteness, nature and animals. The owners gave amazing information about what to do in the surrounding. If I go back to Slovenia I would definitely come here again.

Route directions

Located on a hill, the curvy, narrow road is manageable even for a long trailer or a large mobile home (9+ metres) as it is well-paved. Do not drive on the gravel roads. In the village, turn right at the stone wall with a cross on top.

Local attractions

This part of Slovenia has some splendid hiking and bike paths for those who’d like to get out and explore some of the scenery. Ask on site for recommendations of suitable trails, or details of other local activities such as horse riding, paintballing or watersports. It’s worth remembering that the sights are not all above ground either – you can get a good insight into what lurks under the surface at Županova jama cave (25 minutes’ drive), which has seven underground caverns with amazing rock formations. A little further along the road (or 25 minutes’ direct drive) is the restored Turjak Castle, home to a puppet theatre and a collection of military items. From this fairly central location most of Slovenia should be accessible – but if you only have time for one trip, it should be to Ljubljana (20 minutes) to walk through the Old Town, cross the Triple Bridge and climb to the castle.
