A waterpark on site, a huge indoor/outdoor playground next door and less than half an hour’s drive from one of the country’s biggest and best theme parks – as kid-pleasing sites go, this one’s a bit of a winner.
Working on the premise that happy kids equals happy parents, the folks at Linberg Park have crammed lots of family-friendly facilities into their 26-hectare site just outside Molenschot. As well as that waterpark (a super outdoor space with waterslides, paddling pool and water playground) there’s a football field, volleyball court and several playgrounds dotted around the place.
Keeping them further amused are heaps of activities and entertainments – water polo games, foam parties, talent shows for the older ones and crafts and discos for the smaller ones. Hikes, fishing trips and sports tournaments are also on the cards for any grownups feeling left out.
So that you don’t have to abandon the fun for too long, there are also plenty of essentials on site, a restaurant, snack bar, convenience store and launderette among them.
When you do want to venture out, this is a great location for lots of North Brabant attractions. There’s reduced-price entry to the play centre next door, and lots of lovely bike rides and walks to be had in the surrounding woods. The towns of Breda and Tilburg are less than half an hour away, as is the famed Efteling theme park.

Local attractions
If you’re venturing out, you’ll not need to stray too far to find plenty of tiddler-friendly places to spend the day. Right next door to the site is Kids Wonderland, a huge indoor/outdoor playground with a pirate-themed climbing frame, trampolines and the like. There’s reduced-price entry for Linberg Park guests so you can swing by whenever you wish.
The big day out locally is the excellent Efteling theme park, around 25 minutes’ drive away, but you might also like to have a think about visiting Smits Camel Dairy to meet and milk the big beasts, or making the 20-minute journey to Oosterhout to see the bakery museum and toy museum.
Out in the open air, there are lots of walking and bike trails in the woods around the site, and the Biesbosch National Park is about a 20-minute drive away for walking, cycling, horse riding and canoeing around the park’s wetlands.
