Lovely, peaceful site, a short spin from Lake Garda. Friendly staff, clean facilities incl. saltwater pool. Pitches are decent with shade. A few grumbles about no loo seats, chilly showers in the morn & flies. Dogs welcome with their own run.

Liked Small but perfectly formed campsite with great pool. Spotlessly clean with a lovely and helpful management. Walking distance to many trattorias and bars (Il Filos being our favorite).

A quiet area, but only a short drive to the hustle and bustle. This suited us perfectly.

Liked Fijne verzorgde camping, helaas hier ook geen wc brillen en het douche water was in de ochtend koud, voor de rest vriendelijk personeel en goed onderhouden en schoon.

Disliked De plaatsen kort bij de afval plaats waren zeer bevolkt door vliegen meid deze als je de keuze hebt.

Local attractions

To spend time somewhere peaceful and packed with wildlife, make your way to Riserva naturale Castellaro Lagusello (10 minutes’ drive). The nature reserve has rare amphibians, invertebrates and a variety of bird species you can try to spot. In Monzambano (five minutes’ drive), stroll around Monzambano Castle, a 13th-century castle with a drawbridge and huge stone walls. If you’re planning to spend a day around Lake Garda, you may want to try the rides at Gardaland Resort (20 minutes), browse the streets of Peschiera del Garda (10 minutes) or take a dip in the thermal waters in Sirmione (20 minutes). Further afield, the city of Mantua (45 minutes) should please the eyes – and the tastebuds if you decide to dine in one of its gorgeous restaurants. Surrounded by three lakes, the city has UNESCO-listed Renaissance buildings including a few grand palaces. Te Palace’s frescoes should please art fans. Verona (40 minutes), another famed Italian city, is also within reach and has plenty of romantic spots such as the Adige river, the medieval old town and what’s thought to be the inspiration for Juliet’s balcony in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.
