On one side, a gorgeous view of river and forest; on the other, the edge of the town of Granges-Aumontzey. And here in the middle, the five acres of well-tended grounds that make up Camping Pré Vologne… it all adds up to a most attractive and convenient location for a holiday in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park. This location means that you’ll be in a peaceful and scenic spot with lots of shaded space in which to relax, and access to the Vologne river for swimming or fishing. These are the kind of surroundings that might make you believe you’re right out in the deepest countryside, but in fact you’ll be less than 500 metres from the centre of Granges-Aumontzey, putting shops, bakeries, restaurants and a supermarket within about five minutes’ walk. Don’t fancy even strolling that far? Handily there’s also a snack bar on site, and you can buy ice creams and drinks at reception. There’s also a pétanque court and a ping pong table to help you work up an appetite, along with board games for those quieter moments. If you need a little extra help to relax, ask on site about booking massages to get some stress out of your shoulders. This is a properly family-oriented site with all the essential facilities you might expect: a launderette, a washing-up area, a wifi service and bathrooms including accessible facilities, a parent/child bathroom and baby-changing facilities.

  • Your dog must be tattooed or microchipped.

  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.

Liked Petit camping familial au top. Nous y avons passé un agréable séjour. Le camion de pizza qui vient deux fois dans la semaine les primeurs sont venus deux fois également. L’accueil des propriétaires très sympathique.
Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Liked Tout était parfait, camping à taille humaine, simple, naturel, le + la rivière juste en bordure. Les arbres partout. La propreté des sanitaires et douche. Le calme général. Vraiment on a adoré et on garde l'adresse et on recommandera assurément 😀

Disliked Het sanitair is niet toereikend. Te weinig en regelmatig geen warm water. Ook loopt de hond van de campingeigenaar los rond terwijl onze hond netjes aan de riem zat.

Liked Grosse Parzellen unter schattenspendenden Bäumen. Sehr nette Betreiber*innen. Plätze am Bach. Äusserst kinderfreundlich. Nahe beim Dorf mit Einkaufmöglichkeiten und Restaurants

Disliked Bei Sturm war die Lage gefährlich, da der alte Baumbestand nicht gepflegt wird. Zwei sehr grosse Äste sind knapp neben den Zelten runter und ein Baum auf ein Zelt gefallen. Glücklicherweise kein Personenschaden.
Die Sanitärgebäude entsprechen nicht mehr dem heutigen Standart. Chemie Wc überlaufen. Schade, der Platz ist sonst ordentlich. Bei der Entsorgungsstelle keine Frischwasserzapfstelle

Local attractions

As you might expect from a location within the Ballons des Vosges Regional Natural Park, there are lots of places to get out for a walk around here, whether you fancy a gentle stroll or a more challenging hike. Hohneck mountain (40 minutes’ drive) is a particularly good place for scenic views, as are the trails around Vervezelle (20 minutes). This area is well known for its water features too, so set off for hikes around lakes like Lac de Gerardmer (15 minutes) and Lac de Longemer (20 minutes) or seek out waterfalls including Pont Des Fées (15 minutes), Cascades du Tendon (20 minutes), Saut du Bouchot (half an hour) and Cascade de la Pissoire (half an hour). For different days out, head to the treetop trails of Acro-Sphère (20 minutes) or stick to terra firma for a stroll around the flower-filled Garden Berchigranges (10 minutes). If you’ve got the kids with you (or in fact, even if you don’t) you may like to spend a day at Fraispertuis theme park (half an hour), which is full of attractions for all ages, from gentle rides for toddlers to fast-paced rollercoasters for grown-up thrill seekers.
