Camping Lac de Neufont

Liked Spacious pitches and a lovely location next to a water sports facility.
The lake next door had a bar/restaurant which was only a short walk from the rear of the sight.

Disliked Site security felt a little lacking, with nothing stopping anyone from entering the site at the rear (that we could see).
The site staff weren’t really in evidence very often (it was the end of the season and the site was very quiet so perhaps this was understandable).

We appreciate your comments and, as you mentioned, we are coming to the end of the season with unpredictable and rainy weather, which does not encourage holidaymakers to come and stay at our lovely campsite.
We are open and available every day until 12/10 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., either at reception or on site, to winterise our tents and do end-of-season cleaning.

Liked Open and spaciousness between pitches.
Beautiful trees and lake views beyond.
Hard standing for vehicle/camper
Fabulous sanitation block and facilities.
Access to lake with beach and bars.
Everything well maintained and very clean.

Lovely lakeside setting. Bar and restaurant were closed because we were “out of season” but we would certainly return

Liked Lovely location, very peaceful and wonderful staff who were really friendly and helpful.
Easy to find and lots of lovely places to visit nearby.
Fresh bread and croissant daily excellent WiFi and a lovely bar
Play area for the children and swimming possible in the lake - a lovely little beach area
Shower block new.

Disliked The midges but sadly nothing you can do about that !

The whole team at Neufont

Liked Lovely staff and really friendly reception upon arrival. The pitches were quite big and we had some great options. We had water and electric on our pitch which was fantastic. The Lake was great, swimming, paddle boarding, pedlos for hire as well. We had a ride on our bikes to local town Vergt too. Really chilled vibe and although we did have some rain it was very enjoyable. Ordered bread and pastries each morning from reception. Showers and toilets were new and great facilities.

Disliked The flys and mosquitos, got bit quite a lot.

Liked Lovely site spotless toilets and showers main block seemed to be like new.. reception staff were wonderful spoke good English.. Very helpful. Site was perfect as a base to visit the Dordogne supermarket and fuel 5 min drive away.

Liked Great site, good size level pitch, lovely clean facilities. Amazing beach, lake, watersports and lovely lakeside bar and restaurant.
Would just recommend to book well in advance if you want to eat as it is open to the public.
