What customers say

A grand spot with plenty of room and top-notch, spotless amenities, including mighty showers and a well-kitted kitchen. The cafe's a winner for grub and the odd bit of music. Staff are sound, and it's perfect for seeing the sights. Most folk enjoyed it, though a few mentioned muddy paths after rain and a bit of bother with noise.

Electric grass pitch

Liked Fabulous views, pitches and fields of your choice
Water accessible within close proximity
Lovely cafe/restaurant with live music at weekend

Disliked Showers and toilets facilities
Very old - needs updating in all areas
Two family showers - floors uneven and bouncy
Shared toilets - male and female in one area
2nd shower area (5 showers again male and female)
3rd area - 4 toilets - 4 showers (ladies)
Very small open bottom and top doors

Not always clean - but that is down to size of site
BUT I would stay again!

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked An amazing place, with truly lovely and varied fields to pitch in, was a bank holiday and did not feel crowded, highly recommend eating in the cafe, which has great entertainment on a weekend

Disliked Only thing that could be upgraded would be the toilet facilities, not enough at busy periods and the family shower cubicles are very tired

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked Beautiful rural campsite featuring 4 or 5 lush green verdant grass meadows of soft grass. Tents are restricted to the edges of fields so it is never overly full. Local village Lamphey is 10 minute walk away and the Dial Inn pub does brilliant pub grub and two decent cask ales. Cafe at campsite is also a hit with live music and pizzas. Showers are powerful and lively and warm.

Disliked Could be more toilet options as it's a bit of a hike from some fields and cleanliness of toilets could have been better but nitpicking. Also the big barn light at night kind of blocked out some of the stargazing when it came on.

Local attractions

Tiptop Tenby, one of the most popular seaside resorts on the Pembrokeshire coast, is seven miles or 15 minutes' drive from the farm. Parking can be tricky in high season so the Dewslake Farm Camping and Glamping owners recommend getting the train from Lamphey: once in town, there are two and a half miles' worth of beaches to roam, a handsome centre with independent shops, cafés and restaurants to potter around, medieval town walls including the Five Arches to snap pics of, and the Tenby Museum and Art Gallery for cultured hours and souvenirs. Boat trips leave from Tenby's harbour to Caldey Island. More popular spots nearby are Manorbier beach and castle, and the famed sands of Freshwater East, a long stretch of beach that's a top pick for sea swimming; both are four miles or under 10 minutes' drive away. From Barafundle Bay (15 minutes), hike the clifftop path for about 20 minutes to Stackpole Quay and its tearoom – or park at Stackpole and hike to Barafundle and back again. The surfing waves of Freshwater West are 20 minutes' drive away.
