Just one mile away from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, Talbenny Hall Farm is just the spot to relax… in between exploring all of Pembrokeshire’s stunning beaches, that is. The nearby coastal path leads across to Martin’s Head or all the way up to St Davids. The peaceful, dog-friendly site is in the small hamlet of Talbenny, so mornings with birds singing and nights watching the sun go down across the fields before stargazing huddled around a firepit are the norm. Little Haven is 35 minutes’ walk away from the site, and just a little further on is the popular Broad Haven Beach (an hour’s walk or a 10-minute drive away). Both have cafés, pubs and shops. If you need more supplies, make your way to the supermarkets in Milford Haven, 15 minutes’ drive away. The site was once connected to RAF Talbenny and part of the runway, so the old taxiway runs through the farm (and access to the site is along a small track leading to the taxiway). Friendly dogs are welcome on leads. Facilities-wise, there’s running water for guests to wash up dishes and shared toilets and showers too. There’s a tuck shop on site selling essentials should you need them, as well as pizzas available at the weekend.
