Liked: Viv was great, told us everything we needed to know about the local area and gave us a fantastic route home to experience the mountains. Would definitely come back and had the best experience. The site was great, clean and peaceful and everything you need to relax

Liked: Peaceful and quiet. Plenty of room around the site. Large pitch with tap right next to pitches…. No carrying water about! Lovely clean toilet and shower block. Good washing up facilities. Friendly, helpful staff.

Liked: Beautiful site, really looked after, quiet and very peaceful. Friendly staff, very clean shower facilities and toilets. Definitely recommend to visit. Can't wait to come back next year. Large play area for the kids. Great location.

Liked: Well presented camping areas. Allocated areas were generous and not packed in like in many others. Toilet/shower block in camping field was good, clean and showers were hot. Also were a close distance so not far to walk. Lots of allocated areas for the kids includinga great play area, woodland walk, ping pong tables, football fields, badminton/tennis areas. Dishwashing facilities were good and clean. Location was quiet and everyone there respected the evening and morning quiet times.

Disliked: No phone signal and no WiFi on site. As i wasnt expecting this, I didnt think to plan ahead and it made planning days out or contacting home difficult! For this reason, personally, I would not book here again! Fire pits are not allowed, which was disappointing but was stated in T&Cs when booking. No sign for the bin area and would have been handy to have one closer to the camping field.

Liked: Great site. Clean and quiet, great for families.

Disliked: No plug points in the facilities for hair dryer. The hairdryer there kept cutting out and only one in there for such a busy site.

Liked: The site was very quiet and peaceful. It may have been due to being there before the school holidays though. The facilities were spotless. The location was in walking distance of the local shops and beach about a mile. Really nice site

Disliked: There wasn’t a laundry facility

Liked: Very clean and tidy , the layout of the site was really good with areas separated by hedging so it felt like you were at a smaller site. Plenty of safe play areas for children. The staff were friendly and helpful and took us to our plot . The shower blocks were spotless with large shower cubicles and plenty of hot water. There was also a hairdryer with plenty of mirrors. Dog friendly with a dog walk.

Local attractions

Arrange yourself a nice little tour of the Isle of Anglesey, beginning with the beaches. On the opposite coast to the site, Church Bay (40 minutes’ drive) – accessible down a steep footpath – has rockpools packed with sea critters. Take your surfboard, fishing line or swimming costume for surfing, sea fishing or simply a good swim. Bae Lligwy (10 minutes) is just up the coast, next to Moelfre village and some windswept sand dunes. Surrounded by countryside, the big sandy beach has a wild feel, typical of the Isle of Anglesey. There are a few little, remote coves around Llanddwyn Island (50 minutes) too, accessible at low tide only, as well as a lighthouse and Snowdonia views. Snowdonia views are something the tidal island shares in common with Plas Newydd House and Gardens (25 minutes). Aside from that, there aren’t too many similarities, as this mansion is home to the Marquess of Anglesey. It has a 49-acre garden and a 129-acre woodland and parkland. Beaumaris Castle (20 minutes) is a vision too. Surrounded by a moat, its unfinished stone walls have lush views of the distant mountains.

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 25 or over.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Changes cannot be made once you have booked.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behaviour is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
