Electric grass tent pitch

Liked Fantastic site close to Llangrannog and New Quay. The site is flat with multiple electric hook up options and lots of amenities including communal Fridges, Freezers, Kettle, Toaster, Microwave and Washing Machine. Toilets and showers are always clean and very spacious. Big draw for families is the large play area, farm animals and short drive to multiple beaches. Leanne and her family are super helpful and go above and beyond to help out their guests. Over all a brilliant place to stay and somewhere we'll keep coming back to.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Pleasant site. Clean facilities.

Disliked Longish walk on road to beach. £45 per night is excessive in comparison with other sites and then paying for showers!!!

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Loved the very clean and well maintained facilities, toilets, showers, washing up facilities, fridges, electric points and perfect under cover space available to sit and eat and relax as a group if it rained. Alpacas were a welcome bonus and entertained us as we were washing up. Would recommend campsite to anyone!

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked I liked that they had a sheltered area to chill, which included a pool table, sofas & connect 4. I also liked that they had a paddock in the centre of the campsite for children to play, therefore wherever you are set up you can see them.

Disliked disliked how we were told to turn our music off which was not even loud as even our own kids were asleep, may I also add nothing about being quiet after a certain time was listed in the terms & conditions when booking or after booking. We had also messaged to see where the laundry room & where to get a fire bin and pay for wood and had no reply. We had to contact 3 times.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked We love this campsite and Leanne is so welcoming. This farm based site is well laid out with level well maintained pitches. The communal facilities are excellent. There is a communal area with the the free use of fridges. We just tent camp without hook-up so I can't comment on the electricity provision but I didn't hear any complaints from other camper and caravan owners.
You probably need a car, although I expect there are buses along the main coast road, but it is a few miles to the nearest shop/garage/pub. We love the beach which is 2 miles down the very steep headland.
Being a family farm based campsite, it caters perfectly for people with small children. There are animals to visit and a small playground, but mostly because it feels so open and safe they can wander about and still be within eyesight which also gives us a break. We love it and this was our second visit. We will be back.

Shepherd's hut

Liked The Shepherds Hut was well equipped with crockery, utensils and everything needed for a comfortable stay.
Good communication with the owner before our stay.

Disliked The only thing we felt was missing was a dustpan and brush or brush to sweep out the hut.
We did experience a drone flying over and then hovering directly above us for a considerable length of time which we found intrusive. We don’t know if this belonged to the site owner or a guest. However there were only four other guests so unlikely.
We did come across dog poo around the site a couple of times, which was rather disappointing as we are responsible dog owners and pick up after our own dog.
As a suggestion, it would be great if the area around the shepherds hut could be enclosed to keep a dog in and maybe some decking rather than just gravel.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Susan thank you for your review, we have dust pan and brushes in all of our Glamping and Cottage accommodations, I went and checked the shepherds hut as it should have been beside the bin and spare tables, unfortunately it had disappeared under the kitchen cupboard so was out of sight, had you mentioned this during your stay we would have gladly helped you with locating or replacing had it not been there, we often have items taken home by mistake by guests so keep items spare just incase.

We pride ourselves and work very hard on keeping the farm and all areas as clean and tidy as possible and dogs mess is something that we would most definitely not be allowing to be left around site, however these things can be missed by us, and not all dog owners always pick it up, or also if the dog has wandered off they may not realise, If I had I been made aware of this when you discovered it, the mess would have been cleared up immediately and I could have spoken to any guests staying at the time if they had pets.
The Drone is ours, we have actually not long purchased it, apologise if you were disturbed by it, I can assure you it most definitely was not in the sky to be invading the privacy of any of our guests, we have starting using it just recently to check our livestock, it has been a great asset to lambing this April/May we have been able to check ewes and lambs over the road and around the 60 acres of farm check all our livestock without having to disturb guests with the noise of the quad unless absolutely necessary.
we have also planned on using it for Ariel photos for advertising purposes.
the drone doesn't have a camera directly looking down it is looking out and would have been looking out at the field infront of your shepherds hut and checking the ewes, lambs horses and Alpaca for no more than a few minutes.

kind regards Leanne.

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked Lovely site facilities spotless

Disliked If I had to find a problem the gents toilet has only 2 cubicles have to queue up in the morning could do with a few more

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Alan thank you for your review,
unfortunately we are unable to just add a few more toilet cubicles as there is no space to do so, the Mens bathroom has 2 urinals, 2 toilets and 2 sinks with mirrors.
the ladies has 3 toilets 3 sinks 3 mirrors.
we have found this to be fine thus far and same as in a pub or restaurant scenario occasionally people have to wait for short periods of time.
kind regards Leanne.
