Disappointing stay, poor state of cleanliness and condition of pod

Liked Great setting on the river, easy to find, and Crieff is a lovely town
Disliked We booked a superior camping pod, with a hot tub, however, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing stay which we cut short by 1 day. The issues we experienced were:
- When we arrived, the heating had not been on at all in the pod with a reading of 13 degrees. I would have expected it to have been turned up to at least a slightly higher temperature given the time of year, being around 0 outside. We checked in around 6pm and it took several hours for the pod to reach a comfortable temperature
- We observed dust and dirt on the floor which we cleaned - would not have expected to do this upon arrival
- The bathroom had not been properly cleaned - there were other people's hair located around the floor / shower area, and generally not of a clean standard - the pod clearly hadn't been cleaned for at least one occupancy
- There were empty crisp packets behind the furniture - lack of attention to detail
- There are several maintenance issues that exist such as: black mould on curtains, dirty coverings around the door, loose door handle on bathroom, dining chairs fixings to be tightened. It seems that either basic maintenance issues are not reported, or there is a reluctance to replace certain goods. Wear and tear is understandable but some of these items have gone beyond this point
- We can't comment on the hot tub as we did not use, however we were not filled with confidence on the cleanliness
When checking out, I had commented that we were not comfortable to stay any longer and essentially that the pod is grubby and needs attention.
I was informed that the Head of Housekeeping would be notified, and that a manager would contact me. I am still waiting for this contact almost a week after staying here.

Liked Had a fantastic stay - location on the waterfront was great. All essentials supplied. Cabin was warm and cosy. Hot tub was a great addition. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Shop on site for essentials and a co-op a 3 minute drive away.
Disliked Due to being wood fired it was quite hard to manage the temperature. Behind sofa in the cabin needs swept out. Could have done with extra pillows on the bed.

Lovely, clean site by the river, a stroll from Crieff. Staff are grand and helpful, loos are spotless. Hot tubs a treat. Some found pitches tight & Wi-Fi dodgy, but most want to come back. Any little hiccups, like taps or showers, management sorted.

Liked Very good spot, right next to the river. Comfortable sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend to use a fly fishing rod to catch trout. We tried all sorts of different type of fishing (legal ones) but zero luck unfortunately. I noticed a lot of trout going for flies just on other side of the river where the water is deeper. Also, I would recommend to bring a fan for the hot weather season. Shops are in the walking distance. Staff very friendly and helpful.
Disliked Both taps on the bathroom’s sink need tightened up as they are wobbly . But did the job.

Liked We had a lovely 3-day stay. It was peaceful and quiet, with a great location. We really enjoyed the hot tub and had a very relaxing time overall. The staff at reception were friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better.
