What customers say
Cheddar Bridge is a brilliant adult-only spot. Walk to the village & gorge. Spotless facilities (showers!), lovely staff. Pitches are great: level, roomy, tidy. Peaceful vibe, handy for shops, pubs & riverside strolls. Just a few minor notes on Wi-Fi and distant noise, but overall grand.

Lovely site and I'll definitely return.
Non-electric grass campervan pitch (small)
Liked The tent field was a really lovely space with rabbits hopping around, sun and shade and you can choose where to pitch.
Disliked Nothing. Even the Church chimes was lovely and not intrusive at all. Easy to walk into Cheddar and to a Sainsburys. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. Clean facilities.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked Modern toilet and shower blocks which were kept nice and clean for the full duration of my stay. Very convenient location, walking distance from Cheddar Gorge and a row of shops and restaurants! Owners of the site were very friendly and helpful, and could always be seen working in some way on the site during the daytimes. Other campers were very quiet and respectful. 2 different washing up sinks, and the tent area had access to a communal fridge/freezer, microwave and kettle. Waste disposal facilities, also. The pitch was very good; soft soil, majoratively level and very few rocks. Bunnies could often be seen hopping around, and plenty of birds singing! The River Yeo also runs right alongside it.
Disliked There is a public footpath and a football club right alongside the campsite, which is a very convenient way to getting to town, however there would occasionally be a fair bit of noise from football matches and/or kids getting home during the school rush. This didn't disrupt my sleep however, which was good! Only thing that did wake me up a couple of times was the nearby church/clock bells going off every 15 mins or something up until around midnight. They never sounded for long though and I managed to mostly ignore them. Neither of these things can be helped by the campsite owners however, so I don't fault them for it!
