What customers say

A peaceful, welcoming site with a grand owner. Handy for Eden, with a few nipping over or getting a lift. Clean enough facilities, though the wet rooms could do with a spruce. Good pitches and a grand spot for exploring.

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked Everything about Innis Inn and how Mark runs it was totally great for us! It is surrounded by amazing nature and lakes, about half an either east or west to amazing beaches and of course right next door to the Eden Project. Also there is a winery just up the road with really great award winning wines.

Mark went above and beyond with offering fire wood, daily mowing the pitches (in his 70s no less!!) and even offered to look after our pups in spite of one of them barking its face off at him the whole time!

There is a really nice personal touch here and you feel welcome, on nice soft grass, with a campfire at night (or you can borrow one for your own pitch) good facilities and local knowledge.

Disliked Nothing at all. Well some comments I read here pissed me off because clearly those people complaining must be diva assholes to write anything negative about this place!

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked Price okay
Clean shower room and toilets
Quiet location but close to lovely villages and the Eden project

Disliked Can not control the temperature of the water for the showers, and the flow was inconsistent with some cold then luke warm then cold alternating. The sprinkler head was fixed too.
£5 per day extra for electricity, should be included. Hardly used any power for this time of the year (no fan nor heater).
Wifi but the password posted on the board did not work!
Phone signal on my phone very poor.

Non-electric grass tent pitch

Liked Very peaceful, beautiful spot, we had our dogs with us and enjoyed the space and quiet in the sunshine. There is a lot of wildlife about, so nice to see the bunnies hoping about 🙂

Disliked Nothing I can think of, all very welcoming and a really lovely spot.

Electric optional grass and gravel pitch

Liked When we pulled up have had a 3 hour journey to get there we found Marc courteous and very help full.
This was our homey moon and we wanted some one peaceful and quiet this was exactly what we got. The site is split into 3
Motor home in first section and camping in the next Marc. Was on hand daily.
We stayed for 12 nights. Of an evening we would see the rabbits come out etc.
the main thing we were able to unwind and relax.
Off the facilities toilet blocks were clean and. Leaned every day
Showers lovely and hot and large
Shower drainage was great exactly the same for the ladies toilets etc.
the kitchen area was also clean with 3 washing up places.
We ran out of wood Marc stepped in and provided us with kindling and wood.
Marc is very friendly and does like to check on his guests to see they are ok etc.
nothing to much trouble
On one occasion he even looked after some ones dog for the day whilst they went to the Eden project.

We used the site as a base
5 mins in car to local shops lid Tesco
And hour to beaches.
We look forward to our next visit.
Electric Points all located within reach

Local attractions

To take a look at tin mining and its history in Cornwall, Poldark Mine in the Cornish Mining World Heritage Site at Wendron near Helston is the only complete underground tin mine in the county, and has mine and ghost tours, a museum, exhibitions and activities including gold panning and circus skills. More Cornish history and heritage are on show at the Charlestown Shipwreck and Heritage Centre less than five miles from the site, and at the three-floor Mevagissey Museum a few miles south. Anglers can go on the hunt for mackerel or sharks on a sea fishing trip from Mevagissey where there’s a shark angling centre on the quay; boats can also be hired from the village to go out into the waters and look for seals and dolphins. There are opps for beach, sea and coarse fishing all over south Cornwall including at Fowey, Looe, Falmouth, along the River Tamar and at commercial fishing lakes. After a day (each) at the Eden Project and equally famous Lost Gardens of Heligan, there are several more gardens in the area: the National Trust’s Lanhydrock at Bodmin (which also has a secondhand bookshop); the coastal Caerhays Castle and Gardens with National Magnolia Collection, and the valley garden and laurel maze of Glendurgan Garden near Falmouth. All sounding too sedate for the kids? Family-friendly activities and centres abound around St Austell and south Cornwall, including the Crealy Great Adventure Park, the World of Model Railways at Mevagissey and the Tortoise Garden of St Austell. Heading north, sprogs of all ages should like Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium, the indoor play barn at the Springfields Fun Park and Pony Centre, or the biggest go-karting centre in the south-west, Wadebridge’s St Eval Kart Circuit.
