What customers say
A welcoming, family-run spot with spick-and-span facilities and plenty of room. Praised for its natural setting and good value. A bit of road noise and a few basic facilities noted, but improvements are coming. Great base for exploring.

Electric touring pitch
Liked My stay at Jessamine’s campsite was not quite the quiet, peaceful weekend that I had expected. When we first arrived, everything seemed fine. However, over the next few hours, a large group arrived consisting of approximately six couples and around ten children spread across four or five large caravans.
This was through no fault of the campsite itself, but there was no dedicated play area for the children, so they spent much of their time playing ball games around the centre of the site, as well as riding an electric scooter around the campsite. Some of the adults also joined in with the ball games and were very loud whilst playing. As the campsite is relatively small, I was concerned that my vehicle or camping setup could be damaged by stray balls over the course of the weekend.
Naturally, some level of noise is to be expected on any campsite, and I have no issue with people chatting and enjoying themselves. However, the noise levels were quite high for much of the stay, and there was also a considerable amount of swearing, which is not something I particularly enjoy being around.
At one point, the site owner did ask the group to move some of their additional vehicles to the designated car park, as there were so many cars around their pitches that the area was beginning to resemble a car park. From my pitch, it certainly felt quite crowded.
I did not stay for the full duration that I had paid for. I had originally booked and paid for a two-night stay, but after the first night I decided to leave early and forgo the second night, as the atmosphere simply was not what I had hoped for.
Overall, this experience was not really what I was looking for from a campsite break. I want to stress that this was not the fault of the campsite or its management, who appeared to be doing their best. In fact, the toilet and shower facilities were absolutely immaculate and are a real credit to the site. The site itself was well maintained, but the overall atmosphere created by the number and behaviour of some guests was not to my taste and, as a result, I would not choose to stay there again.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lots and lots of space, as we were the only ones on the big meadow. But even if it were fully booked: The pitches are very generously spaced.
Especially nice: Only the pitches and the „driveways“ are mowed. So insects and other wildlive still have a meadow to live in.
Campsite also has nice and clean facilities.
Disliked Absolutely nothing to complain.

Non-electric grass campervan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Family of four and two dogs. All had the best time lots of space around pitch for playing games. We stayed on one of the furthest pitches away from toilet and facilities, but was a beautiful walk through the fields and around the pond. Lovely family owed farm who were very helpful when arriving and even made trip over for fire pits and wood. Lots of space for washing up. Three showers very spacious and clean and same of the toilets could not fault it.
Disliked Nothing!!
