Lovely spot, great views & near Wast Water/Scafell Pike. Hosts Nicky and Jason are brilliant, facilities are spotless. Bell tents comfy. Minor issues with insects/mud in wet weather, but most would come back.

Liked A basic site in beautiful surroundings at really decent value for money, given the location. Nicky the site owner was friendly and welcoming, and the facilities were clean and well looked after. And a really good pub just a few minutes walk away is the icing on the cake. Would definitely book again.

Liked The couple who run the site are so friendly and accommodating! The bell tents have everything you could need and the simple facilities are clean and well maintained. Showers have their own boilers so nice warm showers everytime!

Liked We had a wonderful weekend with our family, the site had everything we needed and the owners were very helpful and friendly the toilets and showers were cleaned every morning it was very laid back and we had plenty of room for the six of us to put up our tents , would definitely go again
Disliked Just wish people would keep their dogs on a lead if they are reactive to other dogs , but that is down to guests not the site

Liked The site was peaceful, the facilities were really clean and well kept. The highlight for us was the welcoming and friendly atmosphere created by the hosts who were on hand to offer local advice and just to say hi to. Thank you Nikki for being so accommodating!
