Great site, spacious pitches & spotless loos. Staff are sound, lovely quiet spot, handy for Fakenham. A few noisy birds & the odd bit of Wi-Fi bother, but mostly a brilliant break.

Liked Fantastic campsite, great facilities. Spaced out pitches, which is done deliberately by the staff which is fantastic. No hassle from anyone on site. WiFi was the best we have had on any campsite we have been too

From the manager: Hi, thank you for your review. We were disappointed we only received a 3/10 from you when so many of the categories you rated as 10/10. It was seemingly the wifi that was the issue, which is really surprising as we have worked hard to put strong / consistent wifi around the Racecourse. Can you please let us know what the issue was - did you struggle to join the free wifi or was there some other issue? We understand Norfolk can be a bit of a challenge at the best of times with phone coverage and wifi, but I'm wondering if there was a power cut or something else unexpected. Kind regards.Sara

Liked Location was good, facilities are clean and tidy.

Disliked I had a call to chase up where I was just before their closing time of 5 pm, yet on my confirmation email, it said between 2-6 check-in time.
Luckily I arrived at 5.15..but it's something to be mindful of when booking!
I couldn't get connected to the WiFi.

Liked There was nothing to review at this site, since there was nothing there. Just a field next to a race course. No staff, no pitch number, one water point in the middle of the field and a hand full of electric posts to service numerous pitches. No reason to ever come back.

Surrounded by the lush woodland of Sandringham Country Park, Sandringham Estate (half an hour’s drive) is the Royal Family’s beloved Christmas retreat. The elegant rooms of the Jacobean mansion are decorated with splendid tapestries and paintings, while the gardens include a topiary area and ornamental lakes. The tall spire of Norwich Cathedral (55 minutes) dominates the city and is home to nesting peregrine falcons. The church is also renowned for its splendid cloister, with Gothic arches around a green with a paved labyrinth that’s a top spot for a little spiritual meditation. More stillness can be found at the Plantation Garden, with secluded benches and flower-lined paths A great way to explore the Broads National Park (one hour) is by canoe or kayak. As you glide through wetlands and peat bogs, keep your eyes peeled for resident wildlife such as cranes and herons – plus, if you’re lucky, the occasional otter.
