What customers say
Lovely, peaceful site with a stream. Owners are sound, pitches are grand and the place is spotless. Near a few pubs and shops. Great for the kids. Some found the showers a bit weak and there were a few whiffy moments, but the new managers are sorting it out.

Electric gravel motorhome pitch
Liked Great location with large flat pitches. The facilities were clean. Local pub x 2 for food, the Inn on the Green was very good (we didn’t get to the Crown, also close by). Great location for walking or cycling the area. We will come back here for sure.
Disliked It’s a large site and I would guess the showers etc would become busy.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review & for pointing out the opportunity to walk & cycle from the park. It is a large site & the facility block can get busy but interestingly, we haven't encountered a queue for the shower. We very much look forward to welcoming you both back soon.
Excellent site, large pitches, stream, wildlife. Peaceful.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review. The weather unfortunately is out of our control but we will always do our utmost to make your stay the best it can be. If available, we could offer you a gravel pitch during wet weather so it's always worth chatting to us during your stay. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Great family site with large pitches.
Electric grass touring caravan pitch
Liked Spacious pitches and very friendly staff. Warm greeting on arrival and clear instructions for rules and site facilities. A very pleasant caravan site.
Disliked There is no tap at the gray water drain, I like to wash out the waste master before packing it away to travel home, there is a fresh water tap a few yards away but it would be nice to have one by the drain.

From the manager: Many thanks for your review, we're so pleased you found it a very pleasant caravan site. We take your point about a tap by the grey water drain & in an idea world it would be great to have one but it would be difficult to do this as the drain is within the area where vehicles drive so it would become a hazard. As you mention there is a tap nearby. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
Excellent site, very clean, wonderful staff, kids entertained.
Electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Spacious pitches, very clean and tidy. Rachel and John the owners are so lovely & really looked after our family as newbie campers. The play park, swings and pond dipping kept the kids entertained for hours. The camp site had lots of families and kids playing during the day but was quiet at night. The sound of the river Onny was so relaxing. The pub close by ‘the inn on the green’ is definitely worth a visit - although book in advance as they get booked up, food was delicious and staff very accommodating!
Disliked Could maybe do with more bits to buy in the shop - water, milk, camping gear, snacks etc. the nearest shop has very limited opening hours so beyond those hours it is a bit of a jaunt to the nearest co-op.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Many thanks for your review. It's a tricky balance as we don't want to compete with the local shop but you make a very good point. We will most certainly consider this as we suspect if you are thinking this, others are too. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
