What customers say
Lovely, peaceful site with grand views. Great value, spotless loos, and top owners. Basic but has the bits you need, with hot showers for a bob. Grand for walks, though signal's a bit iffy. Recommended for its chilled feel and fab Peak District spot.

Great camping option for anyone
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Clean, tidy, beautiful views across the dales, very reasonably priced, great location for accessing many peak district activities. I liked that no music was permitted as it maintained a very peaceful atmosphere for everyone and similarly keeping dogs always on leads allowed children to play without being confronted by someone's excitable (or occasionally aggressive) roaming dog.

Beautiful campsite!
Non-electric grass tent or motorhome pitch
Liked Lots of space, tents not crammed together even on a bank holiday weekend. Facilities were always clean. Never had to wait for a shower! Very beautiful location. Close to Bakewell and lots of nice walks. Great value for money! You do have to pay £1 per shower but this is absolutely fine when you think how cheap this campsite is per night compared to others.
