Liked The friendly welcome and the help received. We had a water leak on the fresh water tank and our host got underneath with his spanners and plumber's mate, doing his best to tide us over until we got home. Although a bit quirky, the small site had everything we needed and shower/toilet was clean Very handy for a stop over by the M4

Liked Loved the family who own it! So very friendly, welcoming - made an instant connection with Leoni - sorry if I have spellt that wrong! She looked after our every need, even phoning her doctor for us when we needed Medical help. We can't thank them enough. Beautiful scenery all around us - all amenities on site. Grazie

Liked Peace, quiet and oh, so tranquil. No screaming kids ( nothing against them), no strimmers, lawn mowers, - we know it has to be done but for us- (all done and beautiful) no motor bikes or traffic noise, just the birds, the buzzing of bees and the gentle breeze in the grasses. So good for relaxing and the soul!

Liked Fully serviced pitch which was spacious, hard standing for motor home with plenty of outside seating area and large lawned area too. Mature trees and shrubs, plus planted areas gave privacy. The riverside location and picnic areas were lovely. Peaceful, tranquil and just what you need after a long journey! The services were spotlessly clean and everywhere was well maintained. Friendly, efficient staff were informative and helpful. The beautiful village and it's coffee room and pubs is just a leisurely stroll away. We WILL be back!

From the manager: Hi Lesley. Thank you for your comment. We have plans in place to update our electrics on site over the next coming year to accommodate more camping. You may not have seen but we also have a brand new play area for children in the bar area for them to play safely in and we have a children’s swimming pool.
