Liked Friendly staff, great location, very clean facilities, wanted to take the shower home it was fabulous. Close to the village of Ruabon. 4 great pubs with good food too. It even has a well stocked mini supermarket. Buses are very frequent to Wrexham Oswestry and Llangollen. easy access from the main road. All together an excellent site. We will definitely be returning.

Disliked I'm not very good with electric showers, would have like some instructions :-) anyway the cold shower was good for me.

Liked A gem of a site, it was like staying in my own garden. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. Fantastic facilities. Loved the horses too. Wish we had stayed a lot longer. Can't wait to go back.

Liked Pitches were quite generous in size and fully serviced. Shower facilities were excellent. Clean and modern. Simple gate code system. Excellent loscation . The area is stunning. Not far from Glasson Dock and only 10 minutes out of Lancaster.

Disliked The access road is quite narrow and the signage is not very clear. We ended up, on the foirst attempt in front of the Hall. The main access road is in need of repair.

Liked An easy access site. Simple number plate recognition systen makes for a smooth check in. Pitches are very gererous in size and fully serviced. They are also flat with plenty of room for manouvering. The shower blocks are like no where else, very modern and each shower room is completly self-contained. This makes for private and secure ablutions. Unfortunately, due to the corona virus the lounge was closed. I will return next year when the site is fully opened. Great site, a proper gem. Thank you :-)

Disliked The site is little out of the way the roads that lead to the site are narrow country lanes. in particular is the road to Garstang which is very narrow and in poor condition in places. Perhaps the site can advise on the best route to the site.

Liked location - within walking distance of Shrewsbury. Ease of access - wide gates and access roads. Well cared for pitches - level, spacious, well drained and grass kept neat.

Disliked The shower and toilet facilities - I know it's a showground but, the toilets were desperately in need of refurbishment and cleaning
