Liked Shepherds hut was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. Really clean and comfortable and the little log burner is fantastic. Great location to get to many parts of the lakes and the pub just across the road is fantastic, brews their own beers and serves really good food.

Liked This is a lovely, small, remote farm campsite. Our kids loved the train carriage camping pods and the log burner inside ensured they stayed lovely and warm, even during a chilly October weekend. The toilets and washroom are really nice and the lady who runs the camping on the farm was lovely. They sell logs for a very reasonable price for both the log burners and fire pits and there are lovely views from the site. It was great for the kids just to explore the farm and run around in the open space. It's also not far from Coniston and Tarn Hows etc.
