Powered grass campsite
Liked Swimming pool is a great addition in a hot summer.
Dog exercising area.
Facilities were generally well kept and clean.
Kids play area was good.
Disliked Only one facilities block, although it’s not the biggest campsite, it is a bit of a trek if you need the toilet in the night, have kids etc.
No trees for shade, made it very hot during the day.

Powered grass campsite
Liked Very clean toilets. Play area for younger children. Lots of open space. Friendly staff. Parking for visitors. Fairly secure site with a gate and barrier at entrance.
Disliked Bit heavy handed on the bleach in the toilets, it was so strong it stung my eyes after just a few minutes of being in there.
Rude awakening from a cockerel at 3.30am then again at 5.30am?!

From the manager: Thank you for your review. I'm afraid you're going to get cockerels and chickens in the countryside along with lots of other animals that make noises. It's the countryside. And I do apologise if I put too much bleach in the toilet bowls. But we had a lot of people on site and I would rather it smelled of detergent then pee.

Power optional grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked It was so peaceful but lots to explore. Perfect for being back to nature. Clean facilities that are checked regularly (every 2 hours). Great to be able to bring dogs. The whole process was easy and everything we needed to know was either emailed or texted to us or available at reception (even when closed) upon arrival. Secure entry by coded barrier.

FHU cement/asphalt and grass travel trailer campsite
Liked This place is great. The pitches are huge and you are welcome to pitch any way you want. The on-site facilities are very clean. Showers are nice and hot and the pressure is amazing! The staff are very friendly and helpful. The views are also lovely. It’s a nice quiet secluded place but you are within reach of all the main attractions and beaches. Perfect if you want to avoid the hustle and bustle of big campsites. Due to it being a working farm, there are lots of animals for the kids to see and feed.
