Power optional grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked We were away in three units and they put us together on the edge of the woods, great for the youngest member ! (2 1/2years) We had a great fire pit between us on pitch 7 and 8 with another good space between 8 and 9 with the rollouts almost touching. All close enough to the loo/shower block with good clean facilities and lots of hot water. Will definitely try and come back again… maybe with another member of our family too. It was also amazing that we could pull off the pitch and park in the carpark to go to shop in Totnes.
Disliked Only (very) slight complaint was that we stayed on after two left and a camper van was given 8 pitch. They had an awning bigger than them so spread over the whole pith meaning we couldn’t (sadly) have the fire pit on the extra nights. Pitches 9 and 10 were both empty.

Liked The staff were friendly, site was tidy, facilities clean. I guess they were in the process of being done up as the plaster needed finishing off. Easy access to toe path with a good pub in either direction (15 minutes one way, hour twenty the other) could cycle but path quite overgrown in places. Not a problem to us, but Wi-Fi was patchy and kept dropping out. All this make marking difficult as if we were on a different pith at a different time we would have seen it differently I’m sure. If we stayed again we’d ask for pitch 1!
Disliked The pitch we were given had very little hedge between us and the tent on the next pitch. (About 5’) Also a lot of other tents there while we were there which meant queuing to use shower and loo occasionally, being in a caravan we used our own but others complained at times.

Liked Everything about the site. Very friendly people. Small site and although on a slope we had no problem as we were ready for it!But they do have blocks if you need them. Although near a road it was never a problem. A great stay. Thank you
Disliked Only marked it down as had to use the car to get about. And not a great road to cycle on.

Liked The view was amazing. The all weather surface was convenient, but didn't spend a lot of time on it as either out or windy. The showers were spotless and well maintained. Access was easy and well sign posted from road.
Disliked Far too many units on one site. On one occasion there was three camper vans, three caravans all with two cars and then at 10pm another campervan turned up and it was one of the occupants of a campervan than had to tell them they couldn't get in and would have to go over the other side on the grass. (They were only staying one night but had trouble getting off the grass the next day) The loo empty was unsigned and a little basic!

From the manager: Glad you enjoyed your stay we were away for a few days ourselves so can not comment on the parking situation on site we are very busy from now on so take into account to get guests to park correctly when arrive as for chemical empty we offer the service and that is main thing we can not put up signs as the amount of people who come down just to empty their loo and not stay can have that either!
