Primitive grass tent or trailer tent campsite
Liked Peaceful, safe and at £7.50 per person per night as a solo traveller, cheap.
Grass pitches not marked around a football pitch. Park up go into bar and pay.
Disliked Litter but that was some other campers I think staying in the pods not the pubs fault

Powered grass and gravel travel trailer campsite
Liked A warm welcome from Shaun, free showers and plenty of room on the level pitches. Quite a relaxed approach to camping with clean facilities ( dated yes but in a nostalgic lido changing room fashion). Ideal for a stop off on your way down the country. I really love the fact you dont charge extras for dogs.
Disliked There was an event in the next field that was noisey until 5am. Not the sites fault and not too much trouble for us as we are not light sleepers but something to consider if you are a light sleeper.
I would not have chosen the pitch we were allocated and shown to had I known about the pub. To be fair to Shaun though we did not ask to move pitch. This is the only reason why its not a 5 star review.
