Liked Everything about this place. Quiet, peaceful, clean, excellently kept site. Great facilities , modern and clean. The owners were friendly and helpful. Camp shop basic and a little pricey but that’s the cost of convenience. I’m sure I read somewhere in advance of my visit that it was a twenty minute walk to Lyme Regis but in reality it was 40 mins Local pub nice and friendly but I can’t comment on the food

Disliked It seemed a little penny pinching to charge 20p for a shower

Liked The location, atmospheric backdrop of Whitby Abbey. Great for stunning sunset pics

Disliked The state of the portaloos by the end of the weekend and the pervasive smell of urine within a good radius of them . The flushing toilets in the more permanent block were always fine

Liked The individual mown pitches amongst the wilder meadow were charming Lots of butterflies in the longer grass. The cleanliness of the facilities and the thoughtfulness of the presentation and notices at the facilities building The distance between pitches Just perfect for my micro camper break It was just the one night away with extended family on a nearby pitch so we just hung around the camp rather than explore further afield.
