Liked Nothing

Disliked In May I booked and paid for a four night stay in July. The day before I was due to go I contacted the owner to see if they were still allowing fire pits considering the dry weather, and received an email saying I should have received an email and refund because the campsite had closed. I had received nothing at all so would've turned up there with nowhere to stay. I did get a refund after contacting Pitchup, but if this place does reopen I would recommend staying well clear

Liked Attractive scenery. Very reasonable prices. Handy for Calder Valley if driving or using nearby bus service or taxi. We used it as a low cost base for a gig at Halifax Piece Hall. Quiet at night. Laid back vibe

Disliked Facilities not great, portaloos only but these were kept clean
